IVETTE OLIVERAS made her New York stage debut in the musical production Evita Del Barrio at Theatre Works, New York City. A graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, she started her artistic career as a vocalist singing throughout the New York area as a soloist and member of several vocal groups. She has also been a vocalist on many demo projects for both east and west coast recording companies. Ivette starred as Maria in the musical workshop production of Four Guys Named Jose and Una Mujer Named Maria at the AMAS Theatre in the heart of the theatre district. She is currently working on her own musical projects and is often seen in the open mic jazz scene around Manhattan jamming with jazz musicians. A songstress in the making, Ivette is also a professional bellydancer and instructor. She is currently teaching Middle Eastern dance at the well known Serena Studios as well as coaching private students in this dance art form. She also does print modeling work and is presently working on a voiceover career as well. At Thalia Spanish Thaetre, Ivette played the role of “Liberty Street/Calle de La Libertad” in the Bilingual production of the Zarzuela (Spanish Operetta) Broadway/La Gran Via in 2001. www.myspace.com/ivettinamusique      www.myspace.com/latinarenaissancewoman
